Yard Dogs

TimDOG & BrettDOG began with a vision December 2002. They called on a drummer/vocalist that helped lead The YARD DOGS to be recognized valley wide for their extensive variety and harmonies. After hitting clubs throughout the Central San Joaquin Valley, they began to be sought after for business mixers, parties, receptions, and just about every type of "casual" around. June 2007 they played their last bar and exclusively perform for special events. TimDOG & BrettDOG have successfully surrounded themselves with the right fit for success in these type of venues.

T-Ranch & the Kidd

T-ranch and the Kidd create a sound somewhere between tribal and trance. Featuring award winning banjo player and prolific singer songwriter Tarantulabanjo, aka Andy Roberts and former LA session drummer and singer Jon Kidd on percussion and vocals. They are an eclectic Americana duo drawing from old-time to rock and everything in between.

Candice Lamb

Candice Lamb is a singer-songwriter from Merced, CA who has been performing in the Central Valley for over 20 years.  She loves performing cover songs as well as her original music.  As a child, Candice was musically influenced by mostly soul and R&B, and she has grown to love many genres over the years including folk, oldies, and alternative.  Singing has always been a great passion of hers since she was old enough to remember.  Through heartache and life's learning experiences she loves to weave those lessons into the songs she writes.  She has been able to use music to work through healing herself and use those experiences as catalysts for personal growth.

Justice Ramos

Justice Ramos is a 25 year old Mexican American singer-songwriter from Sonora California. His music is a blend of 70’s Folk, blues, and rock.

Mike and Gail

Two veteran musicians formed a duo to create original songs and some covers. Gail is on acoustic guitar and Mike is on electric bass with tight harmonies.  Hear songs of love, yearning, a bit of country, folk and rock thrown in!  Gail is a Mariposa local and Mike has been playing bass with her for almost a decade!

Olga Leonard

Introducing Olga Leonard, a proud indigenous talent from the vibrant landscapes of Ecuador. Growing up immersed in the enchanting melodies and deep-rooted history of traditional Andean music, Olga's passion for singing bloomed early on, though shyness initially held her back.

Motherhood became her focus in her mid-twenties, leading her to a new life in the United States where she welcomed two beautiful children. Yet, as her children grew, Olga felt a stirring within her—a call to rediscover her own dreams.

Summoning her courage, Olga embraced music once more, not only singing but also mastering the guitar. Through this journey, she shed layers of inhibition, connecting deeply with her ancestral heritage and the timeless art it embodies.

Now, as she harmonizes with the melodies of her ancestors, Olga is committed to preserving and sharing their legacy, offering the world a glimpse into the profound beauty and wisdom of her culture.

Scott Patrick

Scott Patrick (formerly of country duo Cottonwood Creek) is an indie-folk/Americana artist from the Sierra Nevada foothills. After finding success in the Nashville music scene with his catchy melodies and relatable lyrics about love and heartache, he now tours the western region of the United States, showcasing his unique multi-instrumentalist talents at venues of all shapes and sizes.

Soul Galaxy

Hailing from the musical home base of Mariposa, CA is The Soul Galaxy. For nearly 10 years, the group has performed for every conceivable audience and every little town in the Yosemite/ Western Sierra Slope area.   The band features co-founders guitarist Tim Hager and drummer Jon Kidd along with bassist Charles Green. Tim is considered one of the finest guitarists in Northern California.  Aptly nicknamed  "The Master of the Stratocaster", Tim is a former protege' of blues guitar legend T-Bone Walker and can do things on the guitar few guitarists can.   Former L.A. session drummer and co-lead singer Jon Kidd provides the thrust for the band, chasing Tim's musical guitar whims akin to Mitch Mitchell's rhythmic sparring sessions with Jimi Hendrix. The sound created is familiar, yet original.  The Soul Galaxy enjoys performing deep cuts of Rock, RnB and Soul standards of the 50, 60 and '70s as well as it's own original material.  The group lives on exquisite improvisation that invites the listener to join along for a musical journey that's never the same.

Mariposa Uke Ensemble

Mariposa Uke Ensemble formed in 2017, when one local woman was motivated to learn how to strum the tiny four-stringed instrument. Today, that group of performers has crescendoed into a tight-knit community. This group grew into 20 members that meet weekly even on Zoom. Not even a pandemic could stop their music. They have been performing at local events and are a crowd pleaser.  Come hear the coolest band in town performing your favorite cover tunes!

Terry Barnes Trio

The Terry Barnes Trio has been playing their acoustic folk-rock tunes around the Central Valley, Mariposa, & Morro Bay since 2017. Terry Barnes is a lifelong guitarist and singer, drawing inspiration from folk-rock singer songwriters from the 60’s, 70’s, & beyond. Steve Barnes brings a unique approach to percussion, incorporating bongos into his drum kit, & Dennis Wombacher is an accomplished violinist who consistently wows audiences with his beautiful melodic accompaniment to the soulful interpretations of folk-rock favorites. This trio will not disappoint!

Mike Wichmann

Mike Wichmann, perhaps better known locally as "Cody's Dad", is an accomplished acoustic guitar player and singer heavily influenced by a vibrant Northern California music scene since 1992.   Mike's passion for acoustic music blossomed while attending many (20 in a row!) Strawberry Music Festivals that used to be held in Camp Mather near Hetch Hetchy.   Mike has been an integral part of the Mariposa/Yosemite region's music community for years.   He's played in a few local bands, hosted many music jams at his house, and pretty much always said YES to playing with anyone.   Mike plays and now teaches music by ear.  Come find out what some of his fav tunes are!
